GAVI DOCG del comune DI GAVI is a prestigious white wine from Piedmont, produced exclusively from Cortese grapes. Known for its elegance and freshness, it represents one of the finest expressions of Italian white wines, appreciated for its minerality and versatility at the table.

 

Variety: 100% Cortese.

Vineyards: Located in the municipality of Gavi. Hand-harvested.

Winemaking: the hand-picked grapes are soft-pressed and follow temperature-controlled alcoholic fermentation. It ages on the lees for 3 months in steel tank.

Alc. content: 12,5-13% vol.

Tasting notes: Straw-yellow color with delicate greenish reflections. Aromatic profile with floral notes of acacia, accompanied by hints of citrus, green apple, and white-fleshed fruit. On the palate, it is dry and well-balanced, with lively acidity and pronounced minerality, leading to a finish marked by a subtle almond note.

Pairing: Ideal with fish-based dishes, sushi, and as an aperitif.
