Roero Arneis D.O.C.G.

Arneis is an autochthonous white vine which is well-suited to Piedmont area.In traditional local culture, the name Arneis is given to someone who is an extrovert, a bit of a rebel, original but with a certain charm. Roero Arneis entices with notes of fresh pear, peach and apricot. The taste is fruity with a touch of creaminess and subtle scent leads into a lively, off-dry finish. It pairs well fish-based dishes.

Variety: 100% Arneis.
Vineyards: located in Roero area, a sub-region in south of Piedmont. Manual harvest.
Winemaking: the hand-picked grapes are soft-pressed and then follows temperature-controlled alcoholic fermentation. It ages on the lees for 3 months in steel tank.
Alcohol content: 13,5% vol.
Tasting notes: intense straw yellow colour. Nose very fruity with notes of peach and pear. The taste is elegant and fruity with a peculiar savoury finish.
Pairing: ideal with both vegetable and fish-based dishes.
